Don’t forget to put the Sambal Belacan (Prawn Paste) in your Laksa, otherwise you will not be able the taste of the Sarawak Laksa to the fullest. It is actually very different from the curry laksa as the soup contains no curry in its ingredient at all. It has a base of Sambal Belacan,sour tamarind, garlic, galangal, lemon grass and coconut milk, topped with omellete strips, chicken strips, shrimps (sometimes big prawns), fresh coriander and optionally lime.
